Transitional re-issue pressing is from approximately 1983, when Arista became part of BMG/Bertelsmann, and they began changing previous titles with new catalog #s and barcodes and changed some price points to the lower budget line.

Originally released as # AL 9508, which is still shown on the labels, inner sleeve and back jacket, but has a new black UPC barcode & cat # sticker over the original on the jacket (see photo).

Also, the disc is still a Columbia Records pressing (Terre Haute) which Arista used for vinyl pressing for many years up until 1983. Arista would switch to RCA pressing plants by 1984.
