  • Original electro with a soulful vocal. This one caused a sensation 'round my way when it came out in 1982. A friend of mine bought it on import and I was amazed at the sound. Never really heard anything like it before - especially with the smashing glass sample. Even my Dad's ears pricked up when I played it at home.... he dug that sound.As luck would have it I found a copy quite easily in a 2nd hand shop shortly after. I couldn't afford to keep buying imports though... so it was good fortune indeed when the next year (1983) Streetsounds started their Electro series. The very first volume has another track by C-Bank - the not-quite-so-good Get Wet.Anyway - it does sound dated now... not too much, but a bit (hardly surprising - it's 33 years old). John Robie was a genius I think... this is one of his best.
